Fargo Legion Baseball Awards Announced
The annual Post #2 Baseball Banquet was held on October 2nd at 1 PM at the Courtyard Cafe in Trollwood Village. The Bombers and Varsity teams' seasons were celebrated. 2005 award winners were announced and recognized. They were as follows:
- Post #2 Most Valuable Player: Jake Laber
- Post #2 Rookies of the Year: Catlin Solum and Billy Sholl
- Post #2 Hustle Award: Steve Hirchert
- Bombers Most Valuable Player: Tanner Bombenger
- Bombers Hustle Award: Tim Rude

Post #2 to travel to Denver to open up season
The Fargo American Legion baseball team will open its season in the Denver area beginning Saturday June 11th with a doubleheader vs. Longmont, Colorado. They will play a doubleheader at Boulder, Colorado on Sunday June 12th and will conclude the trip with a Monday June 13th doubleheader vs. Broomfield Post #22.
