Fargo to Host Midwest Region Junior Legion Tournament
American Legion’s Gilbert C Grafton Post 2 will host the 2010 Mid States Junior legion Regional Aug 5, 6, 7 and 8 at Jack Williams Stadium. There will be teams from North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Colorado, Nevada and Kansas. The Fargo Junior Legion Bombers will be the host team for the tournament.

Please note that there are opportunities to help out with the banquet; registration table, set up, help serve, etc. Contact Teresa Buth or Jackie Baarstad if you would like to help out. Also note that you need to send in your payment by August 4th. That is necessary because we have to tell Spitfire how many people to prepare for.

 

Mission Statement

Participation in the Fargo American Legion Baseball program is a privilege extended to the players who are willing to make the commitment to adhere to the rules that govern American Legion Baseball and Fargo Post 2 Baseball. Participation in organized activities such as American Legion Baseball contributes to the all around development of young men. Fargo Post 2 sponsors American legion baseball for the purpose of giving players the opportunity to learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, leadership, having fun, and good sportsmanship, as well as an opportunity to develop their baseball skills, personal fitness, and leadership qualities.
